I believe that proper feedback to students after tests, examinations and projects is essential to stimulate student learning. From 2015, I started to schedule feedback sessions after each major test written by students. During these feedback sessions, strong focus is placed on the common errors made during the test, bad examination technique that was identified and how to resolve these errors in future papers. General test statistics are also shared during these sessions and I try to communicate to students the relevance of what was tested. An example of where the relevance of a past test was discussed with students is given below.
